Before your first flight, we will need to verify your essential pilot documents. Please bring your valid government-issued photo ID, your FAA pilot certificate, and a current FAA medical or BasicMed certificate. This ensures you meet all regulatory requirements to operate our aircraft.

You'll fly with one of our certified flight instructors for a checkout flight in the specific aircraft you wish to rent. This process, typically lasting a minimum of one hour, is a vital step to ensure your proficiency and familiarity with the aircraft's systems and flight characteristics. This is a requirement of our insurance company.

To ensure a safe and smooth experience, your checkout flight will also include a review of local airspace, airport procedures, and key landmarks. This will help you confidently navigate the local area and adhere to all operational protocols.

For your protection and ours, a current non-owned aircraft insurance policy is required to rent our planes. Please provide proof of your policy, with a minimum of $60,000 in hull coverage and Bodily Injury and Property Damage coverage of at least $250,000 per occurrence. This policy assists in protecting you from financial liability in certain instances. Without this insurance you can be held financially liable for all damages. We recommend getting your insurance HERE.
